(NASHVILLE) - Investigators say they’ve determined a January 2nd fire at a Brown County hotel is the work of an arsonist.
State Fire Marshal Roger Johnson says he can't release specifics about the case. But, Johnson says a suspect or group of suspects has been identified and police are gathering information on those people. The case has been turned over to Brown County Prosecutor Jim Oliver, who Johnson says will likely release more detailed information in coming days.
No one was hurt in the fire, but the building suffered serious smoke and flame damage.
