Motorists Should Watch Out For Rising Waters

(UNDATED) - Weather officials are alerting motorists that streams and rivers in and around the area are expected to rise in the next several days.

In Medora, motorists should monitor State Road 235 east of town. Do not drive into flood waters. Turn around and find another route.

The east fork of the White River is also rising near Bedford. The flood advisory continues for the area. The river is expected to rise to 18.3 feet by late Friday night. Flood stage is 20 feet. Williams will be affected by the White River. Flood stage there is 8 feet, it is expected to rise to 7.3 feet by Saturday morning. In Shoals the river will rise to nearly 13 feet by Saturday afternoon, flood stage is 20 feet.
