(WASHINGTON) - Indiana State Police and Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an airplane accident about a mile south of the Washington Airport in Daviess County.
Authorities say the small plane crashed killing 64-year-old Abe Knepp, of Montgomery. The airport is located about three miles northeast of Washington and the small plane crashed about a mile south of that location.
Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will continue to investigate the accident today.
