Lloyd Wood – Country & Comedy at Mitchell Opera House

MITCHELL – Lloyd Wood and his band will be performing his classic Country and Comedy show live at the Mitchell Opera House on Saturday, October 28th at 7:00 p.m.

Lloyd Wood and his band are an Opera House fan favorite!

As a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocal impressionist, Lloyd first gained a solid
regional following as Lloyd Wood and the Little Nashville Express, the house band for
the Little Nashville Opry. They opened the show for most of the bigger acts in country
music in the late 1970s and early 80s and gained a following among regional country
fans. The pride of Indiana, Lloyd is also a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash: the
highest honor bestowed by an Indiana Governor.

Lloyd couldn’t perform without showing off his impressive impersonations of the likes of
George Jones, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Elvis, and even Tiny Tim. No matter the
performance or size of the venue, when it comes to Lloyd Wood, this man loves the
Lord, his family, the Hoosier state, and his country. Not only will you enjoy his music but
also his humor, which is why it’s often called the Lloyd Wood Show.

The show will begin promptly at 7 p.m., and doors will open at 6:15 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. Be sure to get your tickets before they sell
out.
