(BLOOMFIELD) - The elections are more than a month over, and yet, they’re still going.

A Senate runoff in Georgia was just decided last week, the recount for the Senate seat in Minnesota continues both in the counting rooms and in the courts, and in Illinois, well, who knows what's going to happen in Illinois.

But it's not even over here.

In Greene County, a closely counted county council race is too close to call. Literally. It was a tie.

The Greene County Daily World reports the race between Republican incumbent Ken Gremore and Democratic challenger Rae Della Cravens wound up with a count of 6,730 votes each.

Now, the paper says the Greene County Council is charged with breaking the tie themselves, and choosing who will sit among their ranks.

The council has until New Year's Eve to decide, and you would think it would be easy, in that the candidate with the most party members already serving would win, but here's the rub...since Gremore would have to recuse himself, that leaves 3 Democrats and 3 Republicans.
