Chamber Of Commerce Calls For Bipartisanship From Next Governor
(INDIANAPOLIS)- The Indiana Chamber of Commerce is calling on whoever is elected governor to take a bipartisan approach to running the state.
Since early July, the chamber has sent weekly letters to Mitch Daniels and Jill Long Thompson, recommending approaches on issues from taxes to health care.
The eighth and final letter simply asks the candidates to put policy ahead of politics.
Chamber President Kevin Brinegar characterizes the record the last several years as inconsistent.
