Ackerson Still Trying To Debate Buyer, To No Avail
(ZIONSVILLE) - Indiana 4th District Democratic Congressional challenger Nels Ackerson is on the attack again, trying to get incumbent Republican Congressman Steve Buyer to debate him.
Buyer refused to debate his 2006 Democratic challenger, David Sanders, however, Ackerson indicates he hopes things will be different this time around.
So far, at least, efforts to get a debate started by the Frankfort Times, in the northern portion of the district, hasn't borne any fruit as of yet.
Expect further invitations to occur in the weeks leading up to the November 6th general elections.
