(WEST LAFAYETTE) - For a second straight day, democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is linking his criticism of the Iraq war to other fronts he contends have been ignored.

Obama surrounded himself with foreign-policy veterans at Purdue for an 80-minute panel discussion on security issues. The Illinois senator says 9/11 demonstrated America's greatest threats no longer come from other nations, but individuals.

With former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn at his side, Obama praised the program Nunn and Indiana's Richard Lugar spearheaded to secure nuclear materials in the former soviet Union.

He says that task could be completed in four years for what it costs to fight in Iraq for one month.
