(UNDATED) - The race for the democratic gubernatorial nomination in Indiana is over.
Jim Schellinger conceded to Jill Long Thompson late Wednesday afternoon.
Campaign Manager Tim Jeffers says they spent all day looking at returns to see if Schellinger to make up ground in Lake County against his opponent, but it just wasn't to be.
Jeffers says Schellinger was honored to take part in a race that went down to a difference of just a few thousand votes.
