Orange County Results - Contested Primaries

(PAOLI) - Orange County Residents had 5 contested races in the 2008 primary race, including 2 for County Commissioner, and 3 for school boards.

On the Republican ticket, incumbent Donald Crockett beat Lynn A. Coleman for the District 2 nomination. And for district 3, incumbent Thomas Lamb maintained his nomination over challenger Rodney Hager.

For the Paoli School Board, the Greenfield Township Seat was maintained by incumbent Julie L. Hopper over challenger P. Matt Henderson.

On the Springs Valley board, the town seats were won by Anthony L. Galloway and Eddie W. Kellams in the Vote 2 race. Bonnie Burton-Taylor lost her bid as the 3rd place contender.

For the township seat in Springs Valley, another Vote 2 race, one incumbent in the race, George R. Harrison, was defeated. Incumbent Todd Marshall maintains his seat and will be joined by challenger Michael Kevin Allstott. Richard "Rick" Beaty and Sylvia "Jean" Seybold were also defeated in that 5-way race.
