Obama Pulls Another Superdelegate From Clinton

Last updated on Thursday, May 8, 2008

(SIOUX FALLS, S.D.) - Former South Dakota Senator and 1972 Democratic presidential nominee George McGovern says it’s virtually impossible for Hillary Rodham Clinton to win the nomination.

McGovern is shifting his support from Clinton to Barack Obama, a day before she is to campaign in South Dakota.

He's urging Clinton to drop out soon so Democrats can unite against Republican opponent John McCain.
