RFK's Family Visits Hoosier State To Support Obama
(FISHERS) - The wife and son of the late Robert F. Kennedy made stops in Central Indiana Friday afternoon in support of presidential hopeful Barack Obama.
Ethel and Max Kennedy shook hands, took pictures, and signed autographs for a packed house at the Fishers Convention Center.
Max Kennedy recalled the night 40 years ago when his father made that legendary speech following the death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Bobby Kennedy was able to keep peace in Indianapolis, while many other cities saw riots because of the assassination.
Ethel Kennedy says Barack Obama has the same strength as her late husband, and will bring a badly-needed change to this country.
Max and Ethel Kennedy made a stop in Indianapolis for a service commemorating the life of Dr. King. The pair will be in South Bend this morning to campaign for Obama.
