(MARION) - Senator Barack Obama’s plans for change in America brought a crowd of 2,000 people to their feet time and again at Saturday morning’s town hall meeting in Marion.
Obama's visit at Marion High School's gym was Grant County's first from a presidential hopeful in 40 years.
Obama spoke of Grant County's need for economic revitalization, saying that what he sees here is what he sees throughout the nation.
He did not speak much on his primary opponent, senator Hillary Clinton, but said the Democratic party will be united for the November election.
