Obama Begins Hoosier Bus Tour
(SOUTH BEND) - Senator Barack Obama began an Indiana bus tour with a stop at Washington High School in South Bend.
Obama told thousands of people gathered in the school gym late last night that the nation can't wait to end the war in Iraq and repair the sagging economy.
Obama's rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Rodham Clinton, had planned a stop at the school on March 28th, but moved the trip to Mishawaka after school officials decided the visit might disrupt the school day. Obama's visit was well after school hours.
Obama also is scheduled to stop in Gary, Lafayette, Columbus, Terre Haute and Muncie this week.
