(INDIANAPOLIS) - Republicans expect to get a majority of the presidential vote this fall in Indiana regardless whether Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee.

The GOP has had such a tight grip on Indiana's electoral vote for so long, many in the party say they have no worries about John McCain carrying the state in November.

No Democratic presidential nominee has won Indiana since Lyndon Johnson in 1964.
