Clinton Calls For Lincoln-Like Debate With Obama

(SOUTH BEND) - During her appearance in South Bend on Saturday, Senator Hillary Clinton said she wants a debate in Indiana with Senator Barack Obama ahead of the state’s May 6 primary.
She challenged Obama to a one-on-one debate without the intervention of a moderator, which breaks typical presidential debate protocol.
Clinton said it be like the 1858 debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas which gave Lincoln national prominence.
