Bill Clinton, Barack Obama Hitting The Hoosier State Again

Last updated on Tuesday, April 8, 2008

(UNDATED) - The ballots are set and the prize is determined with voter registration ending yesterday.

And with that done, all the presidential candidates seem to be jumping back into the Hoosier pool. Last week, former President Bill Clinton made a one day trip through Columbus, Seymour, Bloomington and right here in the Stone City.

This week, Chelsea Clinton is wrapping up a tour through East Chicago, and campuses of Purdue, USI, ISU, and Ivy Tech Indy.

Now, Illinois Senator Barack Obama has announced a three day bus tour through Hoosier territory, though specific dates and places haven't been announced. And the former president is also on his way back.

Bill Clinton is scheduled to hit spots in Boonville, Jasper, Vincennes, and, of course, Clinton, Indiana.

And, when the Pennsylvania primary is finished on April 22nd, expect even more visits to Indiana by the Clintons and the Obama camp.

Also, as a reminder, people who plan on voting absentee can vote in person as of yesterday, so long as they have a reason they can't vote on May 6th.
