(PLAINFIELD) - Barack Obama brought his democratic presidential campaign to the Plainfield High School gym on Saturday, exhorting a crowd of about 2,000 people to “make history” by helping him win the May primary.

Obama spoke for about 20 minutes, then took questions for 40 more, returning repeatedly to what he says would be his top three priorities as president: beginning a withdrawal from Iraq, reforming health care, and making more use of alternative fuels instead of oil.

Obama promised he'll "campaign actively" in Indiana in advance of the May 6 primary.

His rival, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, plans her first Indiana campaign swing on Thursday.
