(UNDATED) - It’s looking more and more like Indiana Democrats are going to actually have a meaningful say in the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination.

Last night, New York Senator Hillary Clinton won primaries in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island. Illinois Senator Barack Obama won the primary in Vermont and is looking to remain ahead in the caucus portion of Texas, which holds both a primary and caucus.

On the Republican side, Arizona Senator John McCain clinched his nomination for the presidential bid, crossing the 1,190 delegate mark needed.

However, for Democrats, Obama is still in the lead with around a 200 delegate spread, depending on your news source, but more than 2,025 are needed.

This means later primary states, including Indiana, are almost invariably going to have a functional say. That means you need to get registered.

Deadline to register as a Hoosier primary voter for the May 6th vote is April 7th.
