Democrats To Campaign In Southern Indiana?
(EVANSVILLE) - Now that Hillary Clinton is still very much alive in the Democratic presidential race following victories in Ohio and Texas last week… Indiana’s primary takes on much more significance.
The Indiana primary is set for May 6th and Vanderburgh County Democratic Party Chairman Mark Owen says it will likely bring out more voters than most primaries with several local Democratic primary battles on the ballot.
Owen says he hasnt' heard yet if Clinton will campaign in the Evansville area... but he has heard that efforts are underway to get Obama to make an Evansville-area campaign stop.
Owen says it's been years since the Indiana presidential primary drew this much attention.
