(UNDATED) - Senator Hillary Clinton is making several stops in Indiana today, including Mishawaka, Fort Wayne, Muncie, and Hammond.
The visit to Hammond marks the first by a Democratic presidential candidate since Robert Kennedy came in the 1960s.
Hammond Mayor Tom McDermott says this is huge for Hammond and they are ready for the expected crowd of several thousand.
Clinton is going to speak at the Hammond Civic Center. McDermott says he is close with Senator Evan Bayh, who has campaigned all over the state with Clinton.
McDermott says Bayh would make an excellent running mate for Clinton.
