(BLOOMINGTON) - The recently renamed Indiana University Maurer School of Law just got a huge pat on the back.
US News and World Report ranked the law school within their top 25 for the first time ever in the school's history.
The magazine, famous for its school rankings, tied IU with Illinois and Notre Dame for the #23 spot, tying the school for 4th in the Big Ten, behind only Michigan, Northwestern and Minnesota in order.
This also ties IU with Illinois as the 7th best public law school in the nation.
But what makes the IU ranking more notable is the fact that they jumped 13 spots from last year's ranking of 36.
Your top 3 this year are, unsurprisingly, Yale, Harvard and Stanford.
