(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Purdue University’s biofuels symposium 2008 is underway in west Lafayette.
Our partners at Inside Indiana Business report speakers will examine research advancements, along with the policy and sustainability issues surrounding the ethanol and biodiesel industries.
The two-day conference is being held as gas prices in some Indiana communities surpass $4-dollars for a gallon of regular, unleaded fuel.
Purdue Agronomy Professor Ron Turco helped organize the symposium. He says there are two major purposes. One is to review the state of biofuels and the other is to examine new ideas.
