(WEST LAFAYETTE) - The Regenstrief Foundation will continue funding healthcare system research at Purdue University to the tune of $11 million for the next five and a half years.
The foundation helped create the university's Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering in 2005.
Purdue President France A. Cordova says the center doesn't do medical research, but instead focuses on overhauling the country's healthcare delivery system.
Regenstrief Foundation President Leonard Betley says the research applies engineering principles to improve collaboration among health care professionals.
