Purdue University Increases Fundraising Efforts

(WEST LAFAYETTE) - Purdue University hopes a new fund-raising campaign will bring in more than 300 million dollars to expand scholarships, financial aid and other student programs.

Purdue President France Cordova says the goal of the access and success campaign is to raise $304-million dollars over seven years.

Purdue started the campaign quietly last year when Cordova became president -- and has already raised more than $42-million dollars toward the goal.
