Students Compete In Central Indiana Science Fair

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Clutching their carefully crafted cardboard displays, hundreds of students accompanied by at least one parent filed into the 4H complex at the indiana State Fairgrounds for the annual Central Indiana Science Fair.
Kids in grades one through five faced their judgment day on Tuesday. Grades six through 12 get their turn on Thursday.
The stakes are high at the high school level: the top five winners are eligible to show their stuff at the Indiana State Fair this summer. The top two winners move on to the International Science Fair in Atlanta, Georgia.
