"Project: Search" Provides Opportunties For Disabled Students
(INDIANAPOLIS) - FSSA Secretary Mitch Roob was on-hand Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new job services program.
The "Project: Search" initiative provides transitional job opportunities for disabled high school students.
Theresa Grossi with the IU Center on Community Living and Careers says the goal is to start the program in Indianapolis and spread it across the state.
A handful of Indianapolis public school students in their last year of high school are participating in the program, attending classes at community east and learning about a variety of career opportunities.
