Diabetes Conference Held Saturday
(INDIANAPOLIS) - A one-day conference for people with all types of diabetes and their families is being held today at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. It’s called “Taking Control of Your Diabetes”.
Speakers will include diabetes specialists from the IU School of Medicine, the University of Michigan Diabetes Research and Training Center and others from the Indianapolis community.
Workshop topics include "Home Glucose Monitoring: Knowing Your Numbers and What To Do With Them,"; "The Truths and Myths About Insulin Use and Type 2 Diabetes"; "Raising Kids With Diabetes" and "What'S Driving You Crazy About Your Caregivers and Living With Diabetes."
Health fair exhibits will be open from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Registration is available online at www.tcoydcme.org.
