Carmichael Honored With Statue On IU Campus

(RICHMOND) - A life-size sculpture of composer Hoagy Carmichael that toured Indiana last year is returning to Indiana University.
It will have a permanent home in a part of the Bloomington campus that's filled with students every day
The bronze sculpture of the Bloomington native, who died in 1981, will rest outside the IU Auditorium, along Jordan Avenue.
