Schools Begin Using Hybrid Buses Across Indiana

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Randolph Eastern County school district will be the first in the state to get a hybrid school bus.
The bus got an unveiling Friday at the Statehouse.
Pete Baxter with the Indiana Department of Education says the hybrid bus uses technology that boosts fuel efficiency and cuts greenhouse gas emissions.
He says other school districts are already inquiring about the hybrid buses.
