Purdue Sorority On Probation After Hazing

(LAFAYETTE) - A Purdue University sorority has been put on a yearlong probation for hazing.
Delta Phi Lambda members were accused of forcing incoming members to do physical calisthenics if they answered questions about the sorority incorrectly.
The chapter's president says she didn't believe they were hazing - instead - instilling discipline that would carrying over into academics. She says the chapter will work with their national office to develop new initiation rules for next year.
