Liberty Day Educates Students On Rights
(INDIANAPOLIS) - Some Indianapolis high schoolers got an up close and personal look at the US Constitution Monday.
A thousand students were handed copies of the constitution at Ben Davis High School on Indianapolis' West Side.
Junior Shelby Faires says the First Amendment is especially important because it gives people the right to say whatever they want.
This was part of Liberty Day, a nationwide effort to make kids more aware of the Constitution and their civil rights.
