IU Study: Certain Activities Help Students Learn Better

(BLOOMINGTON) - A new study released by Indiana University shows that certain activities boost learning among college students.
The study by the national survey of student engagement showed advantages for students who participate in study abroad programs, undergraduate research, learning communities, internships, and capstone projects.
Survey director George Kuh says students who participated in these activities improved their performance in a number of areas, including critical thinking and real-world problem solving.
