Underground Railroad History Group Visits Conference

(UNDATED) - A group that works to document Indiana’s underground railroad history is in Georgetown, Kentucky this week for the friends of the Network to Freedom Association inaugural conference.
Indiana Freedom Trails President Donna Stokes-Lucas says her group hopes to build relationships with other organizations that educate students and other residents about the underground railroad.
The Network to Freedom was formed by the National Park Service to identify authentic underground railroad sites.
The Indiana Freedom Trail holds open meetings every three months at the Indiana Historical Society.
