Students Prepare For ISTEP Testing

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Students across Indiana in grades three through ten are taking the ISTEP tests this week. Indianapolis Public Schools spokeswoman Mary Louise Bewley says students at some schools began testing today, others will start tomorrow.
The Indiana Department of Education suggests several things that students can do to prepare for the test. Students should get plenty of rest, have a good breakfast, take breaks and exercise, and double-check work on the test.
Parents can help by making sure students get rest and by encouraging the student.
Test results are typically known before Christmas break.
