Students Donate Blood For School Supplies
(UNDATED) - The Indiana Blood Center is helping six Central Indiana high schools start the academic year with new school merchandise.
The high schools earned the reward through the Indiana Blood Center Blood Drive Awards Program - a competition among high schools to see which can donate the most units of life-saving blood.
The Indiana Blood Center Blood Drive Awards Program requires schools to host a minimum of two community blood drives each year.
The six Central Indiana winning high schools at most donation attempts: Warren Central High School, Indianapolis, Harrison High School in Lafayette and Carmel High School.
The winners based on size of senior class: Union Bible College and Academy in Westfield, Indiana Christian Academy of Anderson and Eminence High School in Eminence.
