(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - You won’t find too many private, independent, four year liberal arts colleges for men. In fact, there are only three left in the country and one is located in Indiana.

Wabash College Dean of Admissions Stephen Kline says being a school for men-only is a challenge...and that challenge lies in recruitment.

He says 16 to 17-year-old high school students looking at higher education are just not looking at a men's only college.

So how does the college get over 14-hundred students from 34 states and about two dozen foreign countries? Kline says the college relies on its academic reputation. He also says they are very aggressive in visiting over 500 high schools every year and they depend on the good word from alumni.

The college was founded in 1832 and is located in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Classes get underway next week.
