Motorists Need To Look Out For Young Students

(UNDATED) - The approaching start of school means you need to be extra-watchful for kids darting into the street.
An average of 16 Indiana children a year are run over and killed. Nationally, one-fifth of kids 14 and younger who die in traffic crashes are pedestrians, not passengers.
Triple-A Hoosier Motor Club spokesman Greg Seiter acknowledges kids are out playing in the summer too, but says during the school year, they're even more likely to be out in the afternoon and early evening after school lets out.
