(BLOOMINGTON) - Thursday is the big day for all IU freshman…move-in day!
All dorms will open up and welcome all incoming freshmen and other underclassmen calling Indiana University Bloomington home. More than 7,000 freshmen will be moving into eleven dormitories in one day.
Following the move-in madness, IU freshmen will then attend one of two freshman induction ceremonies at the IU Auditorium.
Additionally, more security has been added to five of those dorms. Forest, Briscoe, McNutt, Teter and Read halls will join Willkie hall as dorms you need to swipe your student ID in order to enter. IU authorities say 2 or 3 more dorms will have this security added over the next 2 years and eventually all residence halls will have it.
