(BLOOMINGTON) - This year’s freshmen at Indiana University have the highest test scores and class standings of any class so far.
School officials say they can be more selective because of an increase in the number of applicants and better credentials of prospective students.
The freshmen class at Bloomington averaged 1,146 on the reading and math portions of the SAT. That's an increase of 25 points over last year.
