Indiana's Average ACT Score Increases
(UNDATED) - Indiana’s average ACT composite score increased again in 2007.
The average score for the state's 2007 high school graduate was 22.0, up from 21.7 in 2006 and 21.6 in 2003.
Indiana graduates remain above the national average of 21.2. The Indiana Department of Education says 14,257 2007 graduates took the ACT at some point in their high school careers.
The percentage of students who met or surpassed ACT's college readiness benchmarks has grown in each of the four subject areas of english, math, reading and science.
