New President For Purdue University

(WEST LAFAYETTE) - The next chapter in Purdue’s history begins today.
It is France Cordova's first official day as president of the university. She comes to West Lafayette after spending the past few years as chancellor of University of California - Riverside.
Cordova says she plans to spend plenty of time listening to people associated with the university.
She will make her first major public appearance this week in Indianapolis during the Indiana Black Expo.
Cordova is the 11th president in Purdue's history.
