More Money For Education Programs, ISTA President Says
(UNDATED) - The state of Indiana needs to supply more money for education programs and that means more money for teachers.
That's the belief of outgoing ISTA President Judith Brigandi, who is returning home from the National Education Association Conference in Pennsylvania.
Brigandi will also be returning to the classroom this fall as her 3-year term, draws to a close. She says Indiana's budget features a very complex and ever-changing funding formula for education.
Brigandi thinks it's time to put more educational funding in that funding formula.
