I.U. School Employees Use Alleged Fake Diplomas
(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University school officials are looking into allegations that two employees are not who they purport to be.
Dr. Natalia Rekhter is a lecturer in the I.U. School of Public and Environmental Affairs. With a Masters degree from the University of Michigan, she also claims a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the World Information Distributed University in Belgium. National accrediting officials say the university is a business, not a school.
Tom Hulse is the Chief Engineer and Fire Protection Services Manager at IUPUI. Hulse claimed a master degree from Knightsbridge University in Sweden. Hulse says the degree has no standing in the U.S.
Officials will decide on a course of action following the investigation.
