Casino Money Used For School Textbook Rentals
Last updated on Monday, July 23, 2007
(FRENCH LICK) - Casino revenues are being used to cover the cost of students’ textbook rentals in Orange County.
Paoli Community Schools Superintendent Alva Sibbitt says the program will save parents $70 to $100 per student.
Money generated from receipts at the French Lick Resort and Casino will also be used to offset book rental fees in the Orleans and Springs Valley school districts.
