(BEDFORD) - An angry parent came before the North Lawrence Community School board meeting last night with a mop and bucket to stress her point about the way school officials had been elected.

Michelle Langdon says she is concerned with the renewal of contracts. She believes there should be individual votes. Langdon says certain persons have made students at Bedford Middle School hate the school. She believes each person brings to the table their own part.

Langdon has a child at Bedford Middle School and learned that teachers and school officials were apparently not treating the students in a proper manner. Langdon made the analogy that there are some bad apples spoiling the whole barrel.

She adds that there is an administrative level of disrespect treating parents as if dismissing parents ideals and approach to how they want their child educated.

Langdon has been speaking with school officials through e-mails and hopes a resolution will come soon.
