(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence Community Schools Corporation is looking at extending the school lunch and supper program year-round.

With the success of the first summer food program, NLCS Assistant Superintendent Gary Conner says he is getting several food service operators to sign up for a yearly contact.

New meal prices have also been proposed. Student breakfasts and lunches will be 10-cents more, with adult meals 20-cents extra. Kindergarten milk has the smallest increase from 4-cents to 10-cents a carton.

The new prices will begin for the 2007-2008 school year.
