(SOUTH BEND) - The University of Notre Dame has received a 10 million dollar gift for a new building for the expanded medical school and cancer research initiatives at the Indiana University School of Medicine South Bend.

The gift was made by Charles M. "Mike" Harper, retired Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Conagra Foods and RJR Nabisco, in memory of his late wife, Josie.

The gift will be combined with 10 million dollars recently given to I.U. by the state for the project.
