Hoosier Uplands Hands Out Scholarships To Local Students

(MITCHELL) - For the 15th year in a row, Hoosier Uplands is giving out scholarships to local graduating high school seniors in the five county area.
Eleven students will receive scholarships. In Lawrence County, Neily England from Bedford North Lawrence High School and Joshua Shelton from Mitchell High School have been chosen.
They along with the others will be recognized during the Hoosier Uplands annual awards dinner to be held next Tuesday. Hoosier Uplands serves Lawrence, Martin, Orange, Washington and Crawford counties.
