Fairview School And Butler Park To Swap

(BLOOMINGTON) - A property trade maybe in the works between the city of Bloomington and the Monroe County Community School Corporation.

It would trade the Fairview Elementary School building for part of Ernest D. Butler Park.

The talks right now are in what officials call the "preliminary" stages, with the next step being to get public input on the idea.

If approved, it would keep the school in the same neighborhood.
